Hux Records out of Lytham St Anns, England have released a CD of the Rumour's first solo recording titled "Max". It was recorded in 1977, between tours with Graham Parker. Bob was a founding member of The Rumour, playing with them from 1975 through '79. The record was produced by Mutt Lange, Shania Twain's future husband. The band played a showcase gig at the Nashville Rooms in London that same year, which featured Paul Carrack playing additional piano and organ, and Elvis Costello as the support act.
